Kapuziner is Kulmbacher’s line of traditional wheat beers. Brewed using monastic techniques, Kapuziner beers are closely tied to the land and culture of Kulmbach.

The Franconian town of Kulmbach has a 650 yearold tradition of brewing beers of exceptional character. Kulmbacher is the culmination of that tradition. Originally founded in 1846 as Reichelbräu Brewery,
Kulmbacher eventually merged with three other top breweries in the region, each of which has kept its individual line of beers and personality while working together to maintain their collective commitment to quality and tradition.

Every year they organize the “Kulmbacher Bierwoche” (Kulmbach Beer Week), one of the largest and most authentic beer festivals in the world.
